I honestly can't thank McKims enough. I had a VERY sentimental ring gifted to me from my partner for my 21st (few years ago), it had then fallen out of my bag on the road and was run over... several times. I asked Michael to save me and he really took into account how special this ring is to me and saved it completely!!! It went from an unrecognizable bit of silver with some destroyed leaves delicate leaves, and they made it look brand new again. And I mean brand new!!!! I'm so overwhelmed and couldn't be happier. Having recently become engaged - with a stone rather than a ring - we found ourselves in the market for a good jeweller, with no idea who to work with. I knew it needed to be someone with really good workmanship as I wanted a very simple, elegant design... and there's nowhere to hide when you go simple! Having researched (what felt like) every jeweller in Brisbane, the one that I kept going back to was McKims because everything I saw looked and sounded precise, professional AND friendly... and that's exactly what we experienced, too. Craig took the time to really listen, he showed us examples to help us to clarify what we wanted and then drew up a plan and quote. Whilst we'd originally planned to talk to another couple of people, just to be sure, in the end we both felt so comfortable on the day that we went straight ahead. We picked up the ring last weekend, both feeling quite anxious - it's a big leap of faith, after all - but I could not be more thrilled with the result. The setting is absolutely beautiful - clean, precise and flawlessly executed - and it's even better than I'd hoped for. We'll absolutely be coming back for our wedding bands and I'd recommend them to anyone. Beautiful work - thank you so much!

Went to get my engagement ring from overseas re-sized and re-shaped. Craig was fantastic. As my ring was new (and the most expensive thing I own) I was anxious about its re-size and shape. However, Craig was very patient with me, took time for me to decide on what I wanted and explained everything in detail.I must also say, that although my ring was bought elsewhere and wasnt as top of the range as some of the Jewellery that McKims make and sell themselves there was no snobbery, they were warm, helpful and friendly and understood how much my piece of jewellery meant to me.Super place, Id definitely recommend!
