I had Lasik Surgery 6 weeks ago. I was a little apprehensive as didn't know much about the process and someone had left a one star review (down to the receptionist attitude! That was helpful!) So here is my review for anyone considering. My father had his eyes lasered 20 years ago in the UK and encouraged me to go so i booked in a consultation. From the first contact and consultation i was blown away by the professionalism and openness of the team. After some testing, all straight forward vision testing - i was told i had the right eyes to go ahead, so i went for it and booked in 1 month later. The day of surgery i met Dr Lenton and we had a chat about the procedure. The nurses were great and the longest part was prepping for the procedure, they numb your eyes with drops and that all takes 25/30 mins. Once you're in scrubs and eyes are numb, you go through to the theatre. You lay down on a bed and they cover one eye while they laser the other. You are wheeled underneath the laser and Dr Lenton talks you through the process, they clamp (not as bas as it sounds, a little uncomfortable - but you have stress balls to squeeze through out!) your eyes open and keep putting the anaesthetic eye drops into your eye. You see a green light and then the red lasers go off. This lasts for around a few seconds and its done. They cover the just lasered eye and uncover the second eye and the same process begins. All in all about 10/12 minutes. Once that is done they wheel you out and slowly sit you up - ask a few questions and you then go into the recovery room to get picked up (you need someone to take you home). In the room your vision is a little cloudy but i could instantly see the clock across the room! You have to keep putting eye drops in for the next few weeks as the lasers damage your tear ducts for a few months. You have to apply these every hour at first, then 4-6 times a day and now after 6 weeks i apply when needed. My monthly eye test showed better than 20/20 on my left eye and 20/20 on my right. I have to be careful with my eyes, swimming, sports etc at the moment, thats to be expected - but the process and result is a life changer. I highly recommend Dr Lee Lenton and his team.

More than happy with my renewed vision and now seeing beautiful bright colours again thanks to Dr Lenton and his wonderful team.
